KATHMANDU, May 29: Chief Secretary XI defeated Prime Minister XI in a friendly football match organized to mark the Republic Day of the country.
Chief Secretary XI overcame Prime Minister XI 3-2 in the match played at the Dasharath Stadium.
Prime Minister KP Oli himself came to the pitch along with Law Minister Agni Kharel and Labor and Employment Minister Deepak Bohara. Kharel and Bohara netted one goal each for the Prime Minister's team.
Irrigation Secretary Anup Kumar Upadhyaya netted twice for Chief Secretary's team and Public Service Commission Secretary Madhav Regmi netted another.
